QR code with a logo
Your brand in the middle of the code, without breaking it.
How it stays readable
- Error correction switches to H (the highest) as soon as you add a logo.
- The logo size is capped at 30% of the width, and dots behind it are cleared.
- The print check shows how much of the code the logo covers, and the scan test reads the final image.
Good logo habits
- Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a light background.
- Don't cover the three corner squares; the logo always sits in the centre.
- Test the printed copy with two different phones before a big print run.
Questions
Will a logo stop my code from scanning?
Not if it's small enough. QR codes repair damage. With error correction H, up to 30% can be covered. We cap the logo size and the print check shows how much it covers.
What kind of logo works best?
A simple, square logo with a plain background. Use a PNG with transparency, or turn on 'Clear the dots behind the logo'.
Is my logo uploaded?
No. The logo is resized in your browser and stays on your device.
